Hello, I’m Araceli.
I’ve been working as a Licensed Acupuncturist since 2018 and its been one of the most rewarding experiences in my life. I cherish the opportunity to work with individuals, assisting them on their journey toward optimal health and vitality. Recognizing the distinct needs and goals of each individual, I appreciate that health is not a one-size-fits-all. My therapeutic approach embraces a nuanced process of healing that involves physical restoration, as well as harmonizing mental, emotional and spiritual elements. I am fully committed to creating a sacred space, where the patient feels safe enough to liberate and release old patterns, habits, and traumas, that are impeding their growth.
My personal journey toward healing and self-discovery started in 2011, when I enrolled in a Yoga and Ayurveda teacher training program at Dancing Shiva. There, the integration of asanas, varied breathing techniques, and meditation practices offered me a transformative opportunity to explore being in my own physical body. Growing up I don’t think I fully allowed myself to be in my body. Through breath work and embodiment practices I was finally able to start regulating my nervous system and come back to myself. This experience inspired me to delve further into the complex energetics of the human body. Shortly after, I enrolled in the Masters program in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine at Yo San University in Marina del Rey, California.
During my academic tenure at the program, I gained proficiency in various styles of acupuncture that emphasized the interconnectivity of mind, body, and spirit. I also did my internship at Venice Family Clinic, where I specialized in Master Tung Acupuncture, a discipline renowned for its efficacy in chronic and acute disorders as well as pain management.
My passion grew exponentially after attending an Esoteric Acupuncture workshop led by the esteemed Dr. Mikeo Sankey, who is the founder of these magical patterns. It was there that I was introduced to potent healing techniques for awakening the chakras and activating the body with sacred geometry, so that the soul slowly remembers their higher self and what is their puzzle piece in this incarnation. This type of acupuncture is a little different than the traditional form, and I offer both styles separately.
I’ve also studied moving meditation practices including self healing Qi gong, eight treasures, and tai chi. These methods have given me an enormous toolbox in terms of cultivating my own energy and knowing how to find the stillness and balance needed to be a container for others.
I am additionally certified in Reiki Level 3 and offer it as well as a combination therapy with Acupuncture. This specialized treatment is particularly beneficial for patients who have a hard time connecting with their bodies and need additional support healing trauma.
Prior to launching my own practice, I worked as a Licensed Acupuncturist at YSU Blount Community Clinic in Marina Del Rey and Aculibrium Acupuncture in Westwood. These experiences served as the foundation for my current venture and significantly contributed to my professional development.
